About

Nancy Nilson, MMFT, LPC

I strive to help my clients find restoration through connection, a better understanding of self, and a broader perspective that empowers them to make healthy, life-giving choices. My therapeutic style is collaborative and holistic. I work to provide effective and compassionate care to each unique individual while utilizing a range of therapeutic modalities to meet the needs of each person. I practice from a trauma-informed perspective and am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and Gottman (Level 3).

I work with individuals and families, and believe an integral part of the healing process is a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, honesty and authenticity. I consider it an honor and a privilege to assist my clients on their journey toward freedom from current and past wounds.

I received my Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy (MMFT) from The King’s University in Southlake, TX and am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have experience working at in-patient rehabilitation facilities, private practice, and non-profit settings with a wide variety of populations.
